Get a database system designed to scale, at your price

The Build Studio designs and builds database systems that hold up under real traffic, and you name the price. That means Postgres done properly: a schema that models your business instead of fighting it, indexes placed where queries actually run, migrations you can trust, and query patterns that stay fast as your data grows. Most apps die when they grow because the database was an afterthought; we make it the foundation instead. Everything the studio ships, across 47 live apps, runs on databases built this way, so this is daily practice, not theory. You describe what you are storing and where it is headed, say a fair number, and we tell you honestly what it buys.

The 60-second version

Most apps die when they grow. Yours will not.

We build it for you: postgres done right, from schema to queries, ready for real traffic.

Name your price and we start. ceoism.com/studio.

What you receive

  • A production Postgres schema modeled on your actual business
  • Indexes and query patterns tuned for real traffic
  • A migration setup you can run without fear
  • Backups and recovery, configured and tested
  • Documentation your next developer will thank you for

How it works

  1. 1

    Tell us what you need

One email. Describe the thing in your own words, plain language is perfect, and say the number that feels fair to you.

  2. 2

We build, you watch it become real

We reply honestly with what your number gets, then we build. You see the live thing take shape, not a slide about it.

  3. 3

    You name the price

The price you set is the price. When it ships, it is live on a real domain and it is yours: code, keys, everything.

Honest questions

My current database is already a mess. Can you fix it rather than start over?
Usually, yes. We read the existing schema, map what is actually wrong, and migrate carefully rather than rebuilding for the sake of it. Starting over is the last resort, not the first quote.
Is my data safe with you during the work?
We work against copies and staging environments, never live production data, until a tested migration is ready. Nothing is dropped or rewritten without a rollback path. Careful is the whole job here.
What stack do you use?
Postgres, almost always, because it scales further than most businesses will ever need and does not lock you in. If your situation genuinely calls for something else, we will say so instead of forcing a favorite.

Name your price on this.

Tell us what you need and the number that feels fair. We answer honestly with what that number gets.

Not looking to hire anyone? If you have the knack but never had the means, CEOism will hand you a company instead.

Service 004 · three takes

The films we shoot for this one

These are the scripts we actually film, published openly. Plain text is spoken out loud. Anything in the marked panels is for the camera or the screen behind us and is never read aloud. Three takes of the same service, so we can pick the one that fits where the film is going. The first is open below. Open the other two to read them.

Quietly afraid it takes off

Opens inside the worry this service answers, and takes its time. Made for someone who already has this problem in mind, so it fits this page and it fits an audience that already knows us.

Here is a thing people do not say out loud. Part of you is nervous about the app getting popular, because you are not sure it would hold.

That worry is usually the database. Most apps die when they grow, because the data was an afterthought and nobody wanted to look at it.

A database system that scales is something you can simply ask for. Schema that fits your business, indexes where the queries really run, migrations you can trust.

Direction · do not readEnd quietly.

Come and describe what you are storing. ceoism.com/studio.

Take two · the direct cutFilm 004 · 15 to 25 seconds

Most apps die when they grow

Opens on a claim or a visible result, with the offer inside the first ten seconds. Built to be shot with a screen recording playing behind you. Made for the feed and for paid placement, where nobody was looking for us.

Screen · do not readScreen: a Postgres schema diagram, tables and relations, scrolling.

Most apps do not die from bad design. They die when they grow, because the database was an afterthought.

Screen · do not readScreen: a query running, the plan showing an index hit, a migration applying cleanly.

A database system that scales. Schema, indexes, migrations, backups. Name your price on it and we will tell you straight what it covers.

The foundation, ours to handle

Names the service in the first breath instead of hiding it behind a hook, then offers to build it. It puts the barriers on the floor: you name the price, and not knowing how any of it works is our job rather than yours. It also makes the promise most people never get, that we stay with the thing until it is real. Made for someone who has been carrying this idea around for a long time and needs to hear that somebody will actually take it on.

Read this script
Direction · do not readOpen on camera. Level tone.

The part of the app nobody sees. Tables, indexes, the place your data actually sits.

A database system that scales. Postgres done properly, migrations, backups tested.

You do not have to understand any of that. It is our job to.

And we will take it as far as your ambition for the thing goes.

Bring us what you are storing, whenever it suits you.
